Thanks for making OFRAH's 2009 Spring Hunger Conference a Success!

Nearly 100 anti-hunger leaders gathered in Portland on June 2 at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral to explore ways to strengthen efforts to reduce hunger in Oregon during these difficult economic times. The Keynote Speaker was Katy Kolker, the founder and executive director from the Portland Fruit Tree Project. Kolker inspired the audience, telling the story of the beginnings of the Fruit Tree Project, and challenging participants to think creatively about ways to increase access to fruits and vegetables in low-income communities.
